This book is the greatest work you'll find on the woman, period. It
was written by a woman in 1959. The book is diagonally opposed to
contemporary misandrist/feminist thinking and therefore may appear to
blame or disparage women but remember, the author is a woman herself.
This book is not about shyness and does not comment on male neurosis.
Here are the contents in brief:
1. The description of the normal, not neurotic woman. This is the best
part. It is quite a shock to think that women like these could
actually exist.
2. The definition and causes of sexual and emotional frigidity in
women and its various forms.
3. The role men play in the creation and cure of frigidity.
4. The historical causes of the development of gender-based antagonism.
5. Case studies of women who recovered from the condition.
6. Methods psychiatrists use to cure frigidity.
7. Description of normal sexual behavior throughout the life cycle of
the woman.
