I have to take 10,000 iu of D (you can get it in capsules of 5000
each, tho I prefer gelcaps) and although I have been on that dose for
three weeks, I still tested just barely into the normal range.
Sunshine doesn't do it for everyone, esp depending on the time of
year. Low D can result in a lot of problems. I take it for cancer, but
there's no end of different things it's involved in.

Take the supplements - they will not hurt you and may help a lot.
