[Supertraining] Definition of Intensity?

What are your definitions of intensity. Too often we argue at cross purposes
simply because of a miscommunication of meaning. Is intensity the right
word, just because an acronym has intensity in the word, what does this
mean. Lights have an intensity of incandescence, I doubt this is what is
meant. Can some one enlighten me :-)
