Hi Colleen,
What you describe is exactly what Anna has on her head. I honestly think it is from the same reason you just stated. It is right along the edge of the Doc band opening.
How long has your daughter been our of the band? CT told us that it might be less obvious once her skull hardens. The stress just never ends. Can you see your daughter's ridge or is it more that you can feel it?
Thanks, Dawn

Subject: Re: [Plagio] Question about bump/ridge on top of head
HI Dawn,My daughter had a similar thing.. her's was a ridge... that was shaped like a line... on the top of her head, perpendicular to her hairline... right where the edge of the DOCband's cap came.My daughter's never went away (even though they said it would). It feels like the plate of her skull, right where that suture is, is uplifted a bit, to form a bumped ridge.I think it was because the cap part of the DOCband held down her head and the open area next to it, is the area where her head grew upward. Some others have reported soft tissue bumps, so maybe that's what your is, I hope so, so it can go away!!Regards,Colleen----- Original Message -----From: Dawn FriedmanSent: Thursday, January 10, 2008 9:16 PMSubject: [Plagio] Question about bump/ridge on top of headI have a question and I hope that someone has had the same issue and that it resolved itself. Anna is about to graduate from her Docband next week and her head looks great. She does have a bump/ridge on the top of her head and we were told that it may or may not go away as her head grows.
Has anyone come across this? You don't see it but if you feel the top of her head you notice it. I know it isn't a big deal but I am a little freaked about it.
Thanks!
Dawn
