[Plagio] Re: question on head growth

A band won't have any impact on head growth, especially once it is
off. Growth does slow at about a year. the important thing is that
children should follow the same curve for growth. Meaning if they were
in the 25th percentile, you would expect them to follow that curve, if
they were in the 75th percentile, they should follow that curve. If
they don't follow the curve (to an extent) then it is reason for
concern. My daughter jumped up quickly (50th at birth and 90th at 6
mo) so my doc did some checks but she is fine and since tracked pretty
well to her curve. There is a growth chart in the files section that
shows the curves.

If you are concerned I would follow up with your doc. at least go back
in a few months (2?) for a growth check, and if she isn't tracking
then get them to look into it. It is true that it doesn't necessarily
indicate a problem, but it is something to keep an eye on.
