[Plagio] Re: Mild Brachycephaly to treat or not to treat

Kelli,

After being 4 weeks into the process (my daughter is 5 1/2 months, I am
so glad I did. We saw improvement with CT within 10 days of banding
and already her flat spot is almost completely gone (we've been told
we'll be done at 6 or 7 weeks). She has barely noticed wearing it and
it has been much easier than my fears and the CT people have been
amazing (even meeting me at the car for an adjustment when we couldn't
go in the waiting room due to illness). Trust your instincts - you'll
know what's best - but I look back at all my worries and indecision and
wished someone had told me that it can be just a really smooth
process. My daughter was moderate (our ins. criteria was 6 mm and 2 SD
and she was 13 mm and 4 SD) even though people all the time told me
they never noticed and made me second guess whether it was necessary.
If my next child is right on the line, we will band again. I am
obviously very happy with the results.
