If you use a blue light on the face in the 445nm wavelength for just
six minutes per day, according to NASA research it will kill the
bacteria which causes acne eruptions. The light penetrates approx. 5
centimeters into the skin killing the bacteria below the skin so
eruption does not occur. Supposedly if you use it daily for three
months the skin will clear up nicely.
If you were to combine this LED bluelight therapy along with the
advice from the other responses, you will surely succeed.

p.s. I am currently constructing an easy to use mask for your type of
problem. As a teen I suffered from your same problem and ended up
scarred for life. So I am using technology and nutrition to save my
kids from the same fate. The scars from acne include psychological
pain.
