Stress is big business these days, and there are plenty of tricks and hints to managing it effectively. The best advice about managing stress, however, is learning to prepare for it and being able to organize yourself in consequence to avoid stress as much as possible. Getting organized won't remove stress from your life, but it can reduce plenty of tension and leave you feeling more able to deal with what surprises do come along your way.

A calendar or planner will help immensely to get you organized and be prepared for events and obstacles. If there are holidays in the month in question, you will want to mark those if they are not on your calendar. Next you can write down any appointments or other obligations that are coming up.

It may also be helpful to write down your schedule if it is not the same everyday, as well as when your bills will be due. Creating a written budget will also help you alleviate stress by anticipating expenses, especially expenses or bills that do not follow a monthly cycle, like birthday presents or insurance. You might also write down things you want to accomplish, but that do not have a certain time they need to be finished.

After you know what you need to do during the month, you can look at each event individually and write down anything thing you will need to do to prepare for your events. By knowing what preparations you will have to make in advance, you will have plenty of time you get everything done, allowing you to take your time instead of doing everything at the last minute.

Writing things down is a great way to ease plenty of unnecessary stress. Giving your brain the chance to focus on more important things means needing to remember doesn't become a stressor in itself. Also, you won't forget any appointments or things that you need to do, and you won't be caught rushing around at the last minute.

Write down as much as possible, from daily tasks to monthly ones, and include as much as possible on your list. You'll also get a great sense of satisfaction at your productivity when you start checking things off and watch your list of "to do's" go down in number.

Using a calendar and a daily list will help you to not get stressed out by helping you plan ahead and being prepared for things as they come up. Being more prepared and having a plan will help relieve a lot of stress because you will be able to accomplish things systematically at a steady pace, instead of letting everything become a crisis situation.
